Henshaw: Pritzker family proves themselves to be 'staunch hypocrites’

Pritzker

Burr Ridge business owner Margot Henshaw said J.B. Pritzker was already hypocritical in his mask policies before the English pub photo released earlier this week.

That photo in the Prairie State Wire shows a smiling, maskless Pritzker along with fellow Democrats Illinois House Speaker Emanuel "Chris" Welch (D-Westchester) and Illinois Senate President Don Harmon (D-Oak Park) toast their trip to London for a United Nations climate summit.

Back at home in Illinois mask mandates are still the norm.

“The Pritzker family have already proven themselves to be staunch hypocrites in coping with COVID. From decamping to Florida, to unmasked dinner parties in Chicago, they have flaunted the rules by which  the rest of us are admonished to live,” Henshaw told the DuPage Policy Journal.

At Pritzker’s estate in Wellington, Florida his daughter Teddi has been spotted taking advantage of the state’s lax policies throughout the pandemic, Prairie State Wire said.

Henshaw said Pritzker’s own apparent weight issues are a reason to distrust his medical judgment.

“Would you take financial advice from a person who has gone bankrupt three times?” she said. “Of course not. Then why would we take medical advice from a person who cares so little about his own health and physical well being? The thought of it defies reason.”

Henshaw said she believes masks do more harm than good.

“We are being required to keep masks on our faces which will not prevent the spread of a virus but are full of germs once we have removed and reapplied them a few times....very efficacious way to get bacterial pneumonia, which is the third (leading cause after heart disease and cancer),” Henshaw said.

Studies by state researchers show that mask usage offers little benefit, she said.

University of Illinois at Chicago researchers authored an article on a Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy study that found that "cloth masks and face coverings are likely to have limited impact on lowering COVID-19 transmission, because they have minimal ability to prevent the emission of small particles.. and offer limited personal protection with respect to small particle inhalation.”

“The mask mania and what she called the vaccine hoax need to end, Henshaw said.

“We will never get to herd immunity if we keep trying to dodge it with the vaccine,” she said.
