6. PROCUREMENT REQUISITIONS
A. 2021-68 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Luminex Software, Inc., for maintenance of the virtual tape server, for Information Technology, for a contract total amount of $15,435.00, for the period of August 26, 2021 through August 25, 2022. Exempt from bidding per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022 “Competitive Bids” (c) not suitable for competitive bids – Sole Source. This is proprietary hardware and software; service and maintenance is offered exclusively through Luminex.
B. 2021-67 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Roskuszka & Sons, Inc. d/b/a Wally's Printing to furnish & deliver printed business envelopes for DuPage County departments. This contract covers the period of September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022, for Information Technology, for a contract total amount of $27,750. This is the second of three (3) twelve (12) month renewals, per low bid #19-102-IT.
C. TE-P-0322-21 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to SHI International Corp., for the procurement of 200 laptops and 230 docking stations for County employees, for Information Technology, for a contract total amount of $258,398.90, per lowest responsible bid #21-063-IT. An additional 30 docking stations were added to this procurement via quote #20702773 using the same bid price to support previously purchased laptops.
