Patent office approves 1 patent for Lisle innovators in week ending June 27

There was one patent granted in Lisle in the week ending June 27, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

This is one less than the week before. The patent was for a double density small form-factor plugable connector.

The patent was filed on May 11, 2020

The number of approved patents in the U.S. grew steadily from roughly 225,000 in 2009 to more than 285,000 in 2019. The number of patents approved suffered a slight downturn in 2020.

Gene Quinn with IPWatchdog said the system underneath patents have become unwieldy, specifically for medical innovations.
