After entering World War II in 1941, the United States called on its citizens to adapt to new roles and lifestyles both on the home front and the battlefield. Together We Win tells the bravery and resilience of DuPage County residents as they answered that call to assist their country and protect freedom throughout the world.

Ghost Towns of DuPage County
September 18, 2021-June 11, 2022
DuPage County’s communities grew rapidly from the 1830s to today, evolving from rural communities to thriving suburbs. Some disappeared over time due to changing modes of transportation, the construction of new neighborhoods and institutions, and other factors. This exhibit explores the county’s ghost towns and why residents left them.

Winston Churchill: The British Bulldog

“Bulldog” Winston Churchill was one of the most influential people of the 20th Century. From his participation in the Boer War as a military journalist, to his time as first lord of the Admiralty, his career in Parliament and finally his becoming British Prime Minister in 1940, Churchill saw England through some of the darkest days of World War II. Hear the story of the life and career of this larger-than-life character.

Train Saturdays
Saturday, July 31 | 1:30-3:30P | FREE EVENT
The HO Gauge Model Train is operated by the DuPage Society of Model Engineers on the third and fifth Saturday of each month. The model features a detailed layout that covers 2,000 feet of track and highlights some of DuPage County's railroads and landmarks in a landscape that blends fact and fantasy.
