Member DeSart inquired about the reasoning for contract renewals versus going out for bid. Director Snyder advised that contract renewals at established pricing from previous years typically results in a cost savings to the County.

Member Krajewski referenced an issue he experienced the prior Friday regarding traffic control at 75th Street and Exner/Williams. The flagger was not certified. Director Snyder advised standard specifications required flaggers to be certified in the past and would confirm this is still the case. Subcontractor foreman was informed of the incident.
