Q4 2020 Recap: 2 parolees from DuPage County convicted of crimes against justice set for release

There were two offenders convicted of crimes against justice released on parole in DuPage County during the fourth quarter of 2020, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that both of the released offenders among the parolees were men. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes against justice was 34. The younger parolee was a 31-year-old man sentenced in 2019, and the oldest was a 36-year-old man sentenced in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jesse Cisneros. He was convicted in 2019 when he was 34 years old. He is now 36.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
