City of Warrenville issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Mayor Brummel is seeking volunteers to fill a vacancy in Ward 1 on the Warrenville City Council. Letters of Interest and Resumes will be accepted through Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
Duties and responsibilities of a City Alderman include:
- For this vacancy, applicants must live in and represent constituents in Ward 1
- Attend two City Council meetings and one - two Committee of the Whole meetings per month
- Adopt local laws, agreements, and city policies
- Approve appointments to boards and commission
