City of West Chicago issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
What could be better than picking up an extra hour of time to spend on a favorite activity? That’s what happens once a year when daylight saving time ends and standard time resumes. Turn back the clock one hour on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00 a.m.
This is also a good time to check batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors to make sure they are functioning properly.
