Village of Glen Ellyn Village Board met Oct. 12.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1) Open:

Members of the public are welcome to speak to any item not specifically listed on tonight's agenda for up to (3) three minutes. For those items which are on tonight's agenda, the public will have the opportunity to comment at the time the item is discussed. In either case, please complete the Audience Participation form and turn it in to the Village Clerk. It is requested that, if possible, one spokesman for a group be appointed to present the views of the entire group. Speakers who are recognized are requested to step to a microphone and state their name, their topic and the group, if any, they are representing prior to addressing the Village Board. Individuals wishing to address the Board shall exercise proper decorum and respect for the proceedings and the business of the Village Board, and shall refrain from abusive demeanor and language. The practice of ceding time to other speakers shall be prohibited, except in the discretion of the presiding officer of the meeting. Public officials are not obligated to respond to questions.

In lieu of participating in the live meeting, the public may also complete a public comment form which will be read into the record during the meeting. This form can be found at www.glenellyn.org/publiccomment.

E. Consent Agenda ­ The following items are considered routine business by the Village Board and will be approved in a single vote in the form listed below:

Motion to approve the following items including Payroll and Vouchers totaling $1,606,037.15. These agenda items have been reviewed by the Management Team & Village Attorney and are consistent with the Village's Purchasing Policy (Trustee Thompson)

1) Total Expenditures (Payroll and Vouchers) ­ $1,606,037.15.

2) Approve a Downtown Retail Interior Improvement Award in the amount of $17,500 and a Fire Prevention Award in the amount of $7,500, for Trans Holding Corp at 507 Pennsylvania Avenue, to be Expensed to the Central Business District TIF Fund (Economic Development Coordinator Hannah)

3) Ordinance No. 6809 ­ VC, An Ordinance to Amend Section 9­2­12(E) regarding fees for municipal permit parking lots (Finance Director Coyle)

4) Ordinance No. 6810, An Ordinance Approving Zoning Variations to Allow Two Accessory Structures to be Constructed in the Front Yard on the Property Located at 170 Macintosh Court (Community Development Director Springer)

5) Approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the Village of Glen Ellyn and the College of DuPage for a Public Art Initiative (Economic Development Coordinator Hannah)

6) Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement with Milton Township for the Construction of Roadway, Water and Sewer Main Improvements in Cumnor Avenue Right of Way, Subject to Attorney Approval (Village Attorney Mathews)
