City of Naperville issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
City to Explain Funding Process During Mandatory Meeting
The City of Naperville is seeking applicants for 2021 project funding through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and the City-funded Social Services Grant (SSG) program.
The City will present a mandatory pre-application workshop and information session using Zoom webinar technology for organizations interested in applying for CDBG and SSG funding from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8. All organizations interested in applying for 2021 funds from these programs must plan to watch this meeting.
City staff members will provide an overview of both grant programs and their funding priorities, as well as information about eligibility, funding criteria, the application process, submission requirements and deadlines. Applications for both 2021 grant programs will be due by noon on Friday, Nov. 6.
Zoom login instructions for the pre-application workshop and information session will be posted on Wednesday, Oct. 7 to the Community Development Block Grant and Social Services Grant pages of the City’s website at www.naperville.il.us/cdbg and www.naperville.il.us/socialservicesgrant.
