Cost of college went up for all students at National Louis University

Tuition and fees rose 2.6 percent for 2018-19 at National Louis University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $10,710 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $270 more than the $10,440 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 441 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.9 million and 75 students took out student loans totaling more than $296,599.

Including all undergraduates (5,992), 1,462 students used grants or scholarships totaling $10.7 million, and 833 students took out $6.9 million in federal student loans.
