Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Empire Beauty School-Hanover Park

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Empire Beauty School-Hanover Park, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $19,260 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 18 students received grants or scholarships totaling $76,100 and 21 students took out student loans totaling more than $161,500.

Including all undergraduates (58), 51 students used grants or scholarships totaling $201,418, and 42 students took out $319,149 in federal student loans.
