56 percent of applicants to North Central College were admitted for fall 2018

At North Central College, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Naperville enrolled 2,928 students in fall 2018, including 2,681 in undergraduate and 247 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 11 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (64 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (15 percent).

The school admitted 56 percent of the 6,625 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 15 percent enrolled.
