78 percent of applicants to Chamberlain University-Illinois were admitted for fall 2018

At Chamberlain University-Illinois, 89 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 90 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Addison enrolled 27,629 students in fall 2018, including 15,090 in undergraduate and 12,539 in graduate programs, data shows. 38.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (58 percent) and Black or African American (13 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 40 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 94 percent enrolled.
