5. PROCUREMENT REQUISITIONS
A. Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Hard Rock Concrete Cutters, Inc., for MPI Sidewalk Saw Cutting, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for a contract total not to exceed $20,000; Per renewal option under RFB 2019-23, first of two options to renew.
B. Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Safety Zone America, Inc., d/b/a Safety Zone Specialists, to furnish and deliver work zone safety equipment for the Division of Transportation, for a contract total not to exceed $11,727.50; Per low quote 20-006-DOT-RE.
C. Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Synergy Power Group, LLC, d/b/a Team Fenex, to furnish and deliver two (2) solar powered arrow-board trailers for the Division of Transportation, for a contract total not to exceed $20,748; Per low quote 20- 007-DOT-RE.
D. Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Equipment Manufacturing Corporation to furnish and deliver one (1) pressurized parts washer for the Division of Transportation, for a contract total not to exceed $12,815; Per Per 55 ILCS 5/5-1022 “Competitive Bids” (c) not suitable for competitive bids (Replacement of compatible equipment parts).
E. DT-P-0183-20 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Monroe Truck Equipment, to furnish and deliver Monroe Spreader and Plow repair and replacement parts, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for the period September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2021, for a contract total not to exceed $28,000; Contract pursuant to the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act (NJPA-Sourcewell).
F. DT-P-0184-20 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Henderson Products, Inc., to furnish and install one (1) Infinity brine tank assembly and flip cover for the Division of Transportation, for a contract total not to exceed $62,872.20; Contract pursuant to the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act (NJPA/Sourcewell).
6. CHANGE ORDERS
A. Change Order -- DT-P-0261A-19 – Amendment to Resolution DT-P-0261-19, issued to Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc., for Professional Phase II Engineering Services for improvements along CH 20/Grand Avenue, from Lake Street to County Line Road, Section 17-00272-03-SP, to increase the funding in the amount of $53,000, resulting in an amended contract total amount of $230,374.71, an increase of 29.88%.
7. AWARDING RESOLUTIONS
A. DT-R-0400-20 RESOLUTION -- Awarding Resolution to Brothers Asphalt Paving, Inc., for the Downers Grove Township 2020 Road Maintenance Program, Section 20-03000- 01-GM, for an estimated Township cost of $783,389.51; Per low bid.
8. AMENDING RESOLUTIONS
A. Amendment -- DT-R-0265A-20 – Amendment to Resolution DT-R-0265-20, issued to K- Five Construction Corporation for the 2020 Pavement Maintenance (South) Program, Section 20-PVMTC-14-GM, to increase the funding in the amount of $60,000, resulting in an amended contract total of $4,498,723.23, an increase of 1.35%.
9. INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS
A. DT-R-0393-20 RESOLUTION -- Intergovernmental Agreement between the County of DuPage and Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, for noise mitigation/ sound wall construction along the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355), from south of Meadow Avenue to south of Sunset Avenue (County to be reimbursed up to $584,000 by the Tollway).
10. GENERAL RESOLUTIONS
A. DT-R-0395-20 RESOLUTION -- Resolution, as amended and passed through Transportation Committee, for the Sale of Surplus Property; Shetland Court (Aurora, Illinois) Part of P.I.N. 07-07-200-012.
B. DT-R-0405-20 RESOLUTION -- Grant of Permanent Easement to the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority along the Illinois Prairie Path right-of-way for the Central Tri-State Tollway (I-294) Improvement Project.
C. DT-R-0406-20 RESOLUTION -- Resolution to Accept and Support Planning Assistance Services by the Regional Transportation Authority for the Development of a County- wide Mobility Plan (Estimated County cost $20,000).
