Analysis: Bloomingdale pays $4.28 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bloomingdale Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.1 percent of the $2,100,373 the Bloomingdale Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.28 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Bloomingdale contributed $1,703,223 to the fund, which saw a $200,130 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $397,150, or 18.9 percent, in 2018.
