Analysis: Warrenville pays $4.09 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Warrenville FPD Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 80.4 percent of the $405,273 the Warrenville FPD Firefighters Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.09 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Warrenville contributed $325,671 to the fund, which saw a $71,605 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $79,601, or 19.6 percent, in 2018. Another $1 came from other unspecified sources.
