Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.
District 2 will continue to provide meals for students who need them over the summer.
The current program will pause for the week of May 25, but will return in the same form starting the week of June 1.
Two days of food will be distributed every Monday, and three days of food every Wednesday.
The food will be distributed grab-and-go style to anyone 18 years and younger from 10:45 a.m.-1 p.m.at 7 locations, most of them neighborhood bus stops.(Limit one per student. Check the list below for the distribution location nearest your home.)
The District expects COVID-19 illnesses and social distancing measures will soon present staffing challenges that will require a reduction in the number of delivery locations, and potentially changes to the delivery schedule. We will do our best to provide our families with timely notification of any changes to our list of delivery locations and our schedule of delivery dates.
