BENSENVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT 2: TELL US WHAT YOU NEED: District 2 surveying community’s needs, wellbeing during COVID-19 crisis

Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.

Bensenville School District 2 is conducting an online Panorama survey of its parents, students and teachers to better understand and assist them with their needs related to remote learning and the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

PARENT COMMUNITY NEEDS SURVEY

The brief, anonymous online survey asks parents about their food, housing, and child care situations, and their experiences around remote learning for their children. The survey will be emailed to parents on Friday, May 1, and parents will have through Friday, May, 8 to submit their responses. Those who do not have email addresses on file with the District can receive a link to the survey by contacting Tim Waldorf, Community Relations Coordinator, at 630-766-5940 ext. 1122 or [email protected].

STUDENT DISTANCE LEARNING & WELL-BEING/SEL SURVEY

The student survey will ask students in Grades 3-8 about their remote learning experiences, environment, habits and needs, and their feelings about their current physical, social and emotional wellbeing.The survey is anonymous and will not impact students’ grades. Students will be given the opportunity to complete the survey as part of their remote learning activities beginning Monday, May 4. The survey will close Friday, May 9.

TEACHER DISTANCE LEARNING & WELL-BEING/SEL SURVEY

This brief, anonymous survey will ask teachers about their personal well being and their thoughts on remote learning related to student engagement and support, family communication, and professional development. Teachers will be emailed the survey on Friday, May 8, and will have through Friday, May 15, to complete it.
