Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60561?

There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Darien zip code 60561, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that the released offender was Artavius Sims. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2017, when he was 23. He is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
