Illinois' 6th Congressional District issued the following announcement on April 28.
U.S. Representative Sean Casten (IL-06) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Congressional Liaison, Susan Gainous, hosted a joint Facebook Live Town Hall on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Facebook Live discussion served as an opportunity for Illinois residents to hear directly from Casten on the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic. Gainous discussed and addressed questions on the Economic Impact Payments, delayed filing dates, delayed return processing, and the status of IRS services. More than 1,000 people tuned into the live conversation.
