Du Page County Ad-Hoc Collective Bargaining Committee met March 18.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

1. CALL TO ORDER

9:00 AM meeting was called to order by Chair Donald Puchalski at 9:09 AM.

2. ROLL CALL

PRESENT: DiCianni, Eckhoff, Puchalski, Renehan, Zay

ABSENT: Covert

3. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS

Chairman Puchalski stated that the meeting had been previously scheduled and that due to the negotiation issues at hand, the County Board's Attorney, Michael Durkin, felt it was necessary to have the meeting. He went on to say that he was cognizant of public safety so the decision was made to have the meeting telephonically.

4. PUBLIC COMMENT

None.

5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

A. Ad-Hoc Collective Bargaining - Regular Meeting - Feb 11, 2020 9:30 AM

RESULT: ACCEPTED [UNANIMOUS]

MOVER: Grant Eckhoff, District 4

SECONDER: Peter DiCianni, District 2

AYES: DiCianni, Eckhoff, Puchalski, Renehan, Zay

ABSENT: Covert

6. OLD BUSINESS

None.

7. NEW BUSINESS

None.

8. EXECUTIVE SESSION

A. Pursuant to Open Meetings Act 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (2) - Collective Negotiating Matters

Motion to move into Executive Session.

RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

MOVER: Peter DiCianni, District 2

SECONDER: Grant Eckhoff, District 4

AYES: DiCianni, Eckhoff, Puchalski, Renehan, Zay

ABSENT: Covert

Motion to move out of Executive Session.

RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

With no further discussion, Member DiCianni moved to adjourn at 10:05 A.M., seconded by Member Eckhoff. All ayes, motion carried.
