1. HHS-P-0046-20 Recommendation for the approval of a contract purchase order to Family Shelter Services, Inc., to provide Advocacy Services to Victims of Domestic Violence. This contract covers the period of December 1, 2019 through November 30, 2020 for Community Services, for a contract total amount not to exceed $85,000; Other Professional Service not subject to competitive bidding per 55 ILCS 5/5- 1022(a). 7. BUDGET TRANSFERS
A. Budget Transfers -- To provide funding to pay for DuPage County Health Department Recreation Therapist Services to be provided to the DuPage Care Center in County FY20 - $8,188.
B. Budget Transfers--Du Page Care Center-To transfer budgeted funds for sufficient funds to be available for the payment/posting of various staffing expenses in the Accounting Units for benefit payments and temporary and on call salaries - $97,966.
8. TRAVEL
A. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Community Services Administrator to attend the mandatory fiscal and grant application workshops for CSBG/IHWAP/LIHEAP in Springfield, Illinois from February 18, 2020 through February 20, 2020. Expenses to include lodging, miscellaneous expenses (parking, mileage, etc.), and per diems for approximate total of $570. CSBG Grant funded 5000-1650.
B. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Community Services Senior Case Manager to attend the Level Two Ombudsman Training in Normal, Illinois, from February 19, 2020 through February 20, 2020. Expenses to include transportation, lodging, and per diems for approximate total of $335. Senior Services grant funded.
C. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Community Services Senior Case Manager to attend the Level Two Ombudsman Training in Normal, Illinois, from February 19, 2020 through February 20, 2020. Expenses to include transportation, lodging, and per diems for approximate total of $335. Senior Services grant funded.
D. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Community Services Administrator to attend the Annual IACAA Learning Conference in Springfield, Illinois from April 26, 2020 through April 28, 2020. Expenses to include registration, lodging, miscellaneous expenses (parking, mileage, etc.), and per diems for approximate total of $970. CSBG grant funded 5000-1650.
E. Authorization for Overnight Travel -- Community Development Manager to attend the National Association for County Community and Economic Development (NACCED) HOME Rental Compliance Training to ensure the County's HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) portfolio remains compliant with HOME program regulations. Training to be held in Washington, D.C. from April 20, 2020 through April 22, 2020. Expenses to include registration, transportation, lodging, miscellaneous expenses (parking, mileage, etc.), and per diems for approximate total of $2,542. CDBG grant funded 5000-1440.
