Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.
Through its Full Service Community Schools Program, District 2 is hosting a FREE workshop with nationally recognized nutritionist Sylvia Meléndez Klinger on Monday, January 27, from 4-5:30 p.m. at Tioga School.
Sylvia is the founder of Hispanic Food Communications, Inc., a nutrition communications consulting company, and is the author of The Little Book of Simple Eating. She has been featured on major news networks as an expert on nutrition issues and research.
Sylvia’s healthy cooking classes will address childhood obesity, high blood pressure and cholesterol, digestive problems, and a number of other nutrition related issues.
