PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the CDBG requirements that a Public Hearing will be held in the Village of Addison. On Monday, October 7, 2019 at 6:30 P.M. the hearing will be held before the Finance and Policy Committee at Addison Village Hall, 1 Friendship Plaza, Addison, Illinois 60101 for the purpose of soliciting comments on two Village sponsored CDBG applications. One of the proposed projects is entitled, “Kingery West Area Street Resurfacing and Improvements” and is expected to consist of street patching, drainage culvert repair/replacement, miscellaneous driveway apron replacement, HMA milling, HMA resurfacing, aggregate shoulders, PCC dowling, PCC curb and gutter replacement, PCC edge milling, and HMA overlay. The other proposed project is entitled, “Addison Rd Water Main Replacement” and consists of replacing water main in the west right of way of Addison Rd between Byron Av and Oak St with new water main and appurtenances. The construction of each proposed project is contingent on $400,000 of CBDG funding each. Persons interested in commenting on the above project may do so in person at the public hearing. Comments may also be submitted in writing to The Department of Community Development (Engineering Division), 1 Friendship Plaza, Addison, Illinois 60101. Written comments will be accepted until 4:00 P.M. on October 7, 2019. Published in the Daily Herald issue of September 20, 2019.
