Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.
To make certain that their children qualify to receive free or reduced-price meals, families must file a new Household Eligibility Application with the District.
Families must do so each year, even if they’ve participated in the program in the past.To ensure timely processing, applications should be submitted no later than the week of September 23 . The District will continue to provide free or reduced-price meals through Thursday, September 26, to any student who qualified for the program last year, but has not yet applied and qualified to participate this year.
On Friday, September 27, students from families who have not reapplied will no longer be enrolled in the program, and will not receive free or reduced-price meals until a new application is submitted and qualifications to participate in the program are reviewed.
