Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.
The Full Service Community Schools Program in District 2 is partnering with Opportunities for All and EDUX Científicamente Humano to offer a child development parent workshop on Friday, September 13, at Bensenville Community Public Library, 200 S. Church Road.
The workshop will focus on age appropriate brain development with an emphasis on memory retention and the impact of trauma.
The workshop will be offered in two sessions.
Session 1 will be for parents of children ages birth to 5, and will be held from 9:30-11:15 a.m.
Session 2 will be for parent of children in Grades K-3, and will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Free food will be offered and transportation provided if needed.
