Village of Bensenville Board of Trustees met June 11.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

CALL TO ORDER: 1. President DeSimone called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

ROLL CALL: 2. Upon roll call by Village Clerk, Nancy Quinn, the following Board Members were present: Carmona, Franz, Lomax, Panicola, Perez

Absent: Frey

A quorum was present.

Staff Present: E. Summers, J. Caracci, G. Ferguson, T. Finner, S. Guest, D. Schulze, S. Viger, C. Williamsen

PUBLIC COMMENT: There was no public comment.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: 3. The May 28, 2019 Village Board Meeting minutes were presented.

Motion: Trustee Lomax made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Trustee Carmona seconded the motion.

All were in favor. Motion carried.

WARRANT NO.

19/11: 4. President DeSimone presented Warrant No. 19/11 in the amount of $1,205,586.32.

Motion: Trustee Perez made a motion to approve the warrants as presented.

Trustee Franz the motion.

ROLL CALL: AYES: Carmona, Franz, Lomax, Panicola, Perez

NAYS: None

All were in favor. Motion carried.

Resolution No.

R-68-2019: 5. President DeSimone gave the summarization of the action contemplated in Resolution No. R-68-2019 entitled a Resolution

Authorizing a Purchase Order with Techtough Inc. for the Purchase up to 12 Toughbook CF31 Mobile Data Terminals for the Bensenville Police Department.

There were no questions from the Village Board.

Motion: Trustee Franz made a motion to approve the resolution as presented. Trustee Carmona seconded the motion.

All were in favor. Motion carried.

R-69-2019: 6. President DeSimone gave the summarization of the action contemplated in Resolution No. R-69 -2019 entitled a Resolution

Approving Payment of Invoice to Northeast DuPage Family and

Youth Services.

There were no questions from the Village Board.

Motion: Trustee Franz made a motion to approve the resolution as presented. Trustee Carmona seconded the motion.

NAYS: None

All were in favor. Motion carried.

PRESIDENT’S

REMARKS: President DeSimone announced that Music in the Park scheduled for June 12th has been cancelled due to impending weather. President DeSimone announced the cancelled performance will be rescheduled.

President DeSimone provided an update on the York Road construction project. President DeSimone announced the projected is currently scheduled to be completed by July 4th. President DeSimone announced updates are posed weekly on the Village’s Website.

President DeSimone announced vehicle stickers are now on sale and must be displayed by July 1st. President DeSimone announced the Village is offering a $2 discount if purchased online.

MANAGERS

REPORT: Village Manager, Evan Summers, had no report.

VILLAGE ATTORNEY

REPORT: Village Attorney, Joseph Montana, had no report.

UNFINISHED

BUSINESS: There was no unfinished business.

NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business.

EXECUTIVE

SESSION: Village Attorney, Joseph Montana, stated there was not a need for Executive Session.

ADJOURNMENT: Trustee Panicola made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Trustee Carmona seconded the motion.

All were in favor. Motion carried.

President DeSimone adjourned the meeting at 6:34 p.m.
