2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60189?

There were two offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60189, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in the Wheaton zip code were men. The younger parolee was a 23-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the other was a 34-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Richard Tincher. He was convicted of a property crime in 2017, when he was 23 years old. He is now 25.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
