The data shows that 15 men and three women were released in the West Chicago zip code. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 23-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 49-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jason Dulceak. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2007, when he was 31 years old. He is now 42.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
