The data shows that the eight released offenders living in the Bensenville zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brian Crocco. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2010, when he was 36 years old. He is now 45.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
