Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.
Registration is now open for District 2's new RISE Academy summer camps, which will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays over a three-week period in July.
The camps are free to BSD2 students entering Grades 2-8, and will offer a series of daily rotations that feature physical fitness, Latin dance, drama, visual arts, literacy and STEAM activities.
Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided.
Space is limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Camp details are as follows:
RISE Elementary Summer Camp
- Age: Incoming Grades 2-5
- Location: W.A. Johnson School, 252 Ridgewood Avenue, Bensenville
- Dates: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from July 8 to July 24
- Time: 8 a.m.-noon
