Elmhurst (DuPage County) home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Elmhurst in DuPage County rose by $56,500 while total sales decreased by 48.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 34 homes sold, with a median sale price of $446,500 - a 14.5% increase over the $390,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 66 homes sold in Elmhurst in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Elmhurst for 2017 was $7,433.32. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,226.20. This marks an increase of 2.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
