Glendale Heights home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Glendale Heights rose by $14,000 while total sales increased by 27.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 55 homes sold, with a median sale price of $189,000 - a 8% increase over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 43 homes sold in Glendale Heights in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Glendale Heights for 2017 was $5,552.04. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,358.10. This marks an increase of 3.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
