Elmhurst (DuPage County) home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Elmhurst in DuPage County rose by $19,550 while total sales increased by 7.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 96 homes sold, with a median sale price of $402,550 - a 5.1% increase over the $383,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 89 homes sold in Elmhurst in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Elmhurst for 2017 was $7,433.32. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,226.20. This marks an increase of 2.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
