Addison home prices fall in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Addison fell by $6,250 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were 50 homes sold, with a median sale price of $223,000 - a 2.7% decrease over the $229,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Addison in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Addison for 2017 was $5,239.64. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,123.10. This marks an increase of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
