Hanover Park (DuPage County) home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Hanover Park in DuPage County fell by $11,000 while total sales increased by 12%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,500 - a 6.7% decrease over the $164,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Hanover Park in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Hanover Park for 2017 was $5,333.76. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,102.10. This marks an increase of 4.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
