Aurora (DuPage County) home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Aurora in DuPage County rose by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 1.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 76 homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,000 - a 5.1% increase over the $198,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 77 homes sold in Aurora in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Aurora for 2017 was $5,688.86. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,498.90. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.7%.
