Winfield home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Winfield rose by $2,500 while total sales remained unchanged with eight homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $306,000 - a 0.8% increase over the $303,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Winfield in April 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Winfield for 2017 was $7,234.19. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,057.60. This marks an increase of 2.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
