governor candidate Jeanne Ives returns $500 contribution from National Chemical Sales & Sevice Inc

The campaign committee of governor candidate Jeanne Ives, Friends of Jeanne Ives, returned a $500 contribution from National Chemical Sales & Sevice Inc on July 13, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. National Chemical Sales & Sevice Inc has not made any other contributions to Jeanne Ives in the past 12 months.
