state representative 44th district candidate James B Durkin returns $1,000 contribution from Illinois American Water Co PAC

The campaign committee of state representative 44th district candidate James B Durkin, Citizens for Durkin, returned a $1,000 contribution from Illinois American Water Co PAC on Oct. 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Illinois American Water Co PAC has not made any other contributions to James B Durkin in the past 12 months.
