Q3 real estate sales report: Hinsdale

Median prices declined in Hinsdale over last year, and are up 0.3 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to third quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From July to September, 100 homes sold in Hinsdale for a median price of $845,000. That's 13.1 percent lower than median home sale prices for the third quarter of 2017.

In the third quarter, 1 home in Hinsdale was in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Hinsdale was $17,543.10 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 1.8 percent of their home's value in taxes.
