Report: Glenbard spent $17,156 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Glenbard Township High School District 87 is up 15.4 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $14,872 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $17,156 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 8445 to 8137.

Glenbard's spending in 2017-18 was 28.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
