Report: Villa Park spent $13,394 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Villa Park School District 45 is up 7.1 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $12,508 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,394 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 3399 to 3468.

Villa Park's spending in 2017-18 was 0.4 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
