Report: Bloomingdale spent $11,846 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Bloomingdale School District 13 is down 9.7 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $13,118 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,846 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1238 to 1408.

Bloomingdale's spending in 2017-18 was 11.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
