Report: Medinah spent $14,401 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Medinah School District 11 is up 8.8 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $13,234 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,401 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 672 to 661.

Medinah's spending in 2017-18 was 8 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
