Report: West Chicago spent $14,502 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at West Chicago Community High School District 94 is up 8.7 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $13,343 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,502 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 2008 to 2101.

West Chicago's spending in 2017-18 was 8.7 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
