Report: Burr Ridge spent $18,216 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Burr Ridge Community Consolidated School District 180 is up 25.6 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $14,504 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $18,216 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 671 to 618.

Burr Ridge's spending in 2017-18 was 36.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
