Report: Addison spent $10,323 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Addison School District 4 is up 16.6 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $8,857 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,323 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 4374 to 4059.

Addison's spending in 2017-18 was 22.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
