Report: 4.1% of Benedictine University students repaying loans are in default

Out of 1,944 Benedictine University students repaying loans in 2015, 80 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the four-year private school in Lisle a default rate of 4.1 percent for that year – 1.4 percentage points lower than in 2014 and 1.3 points lower than in 2013.

Benedictine University had 28 fewer students in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 33 fewer than in 2013.
